A Videoscope is a flexible endoscope that features a video chip at its distal end.
Thanks to cutting-edge CCD or CMOS technology in conjunction with the outstanding KARL STORZ lens systems, KARL STORZ videoscopes offer crystal clear, true-color imaging. Furthermore, we offer videoscopes with an integrated measuring system that is very precise and easy to use. The area to be examined is marked and can be immediately measured with precision. The resulting measurement Image can then be used for additional measurements, such as of height, distance, area, etc. In Addition, the measurement Images can be edited at any time by inserting text, colored marking etc.
An ergonomic handle designed for one-hand operation ensures ease of use. The short, flexible tip with 4-way deflection enables thorough inspection, even in hard-to-reach spaces.
Outer tungsten braiding ensures maximum sheath flexibility as well as the stability required in industrial use. A kink protector prevents damage to the videoscope. Some videoscopes feature an additional working channel for introducing tools for magnetic or conventional grasping. Our videoscopes come in lengths of 1 m to 7.5 m and in diameters of 3.8 mm to 8 mm. CLICK4MOVE® control
The distal tip is controlled through the new, 2nd generation manual CLICK4MOVE® control that offers several advantages over the conventional joystick control:
- Lag-free reaction without overtravel
- Direct and accurate control
- Ultrasensitive control, that is, the direct tip deflection does not involve a motor and allows the user to directly “feel” obstacles or blockages

Interchangeable lenses
KARL STORZ interchangeable lenses are available in different directions of view, depths of field, and angles of view and deliver excellent image sharpness and quality. Thanks to their reliable double safety thread and bayonet lock, the interchangeable lenses are fully compatible . Color coding additionally ensures convenient handling. For users, the system’s biggest advantage is that is gives you the option of inspecting and measuring with a single attachment. There is no need to switch attachments when performing different steps.

MULTIPOINT 3.0 measuring system
The KARL STORZ MULTIPOINT 3.0 measurement technology is based on microprojectors that generate structured light points on the surface to be measured. The measured light point data are converted into 3D coordinates that span the surface to be measured. Thanks to structured illumination, textureless and shiny surfaces can be easily measured as well. For rapid generation of the 3D data, the TECHNO PACK® T LED software is additionally supported by proprietary algorithms. With this patented measurement technology, KARL STORZ has been supporting rapid, precise, and accurate endoscopic inspections for more than 10 years. With the new software update 3.0, you will particularly benefit from the following advantages:
